Kansas City police investigate homicide on E. 17th Street

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police in Kansas City are investigating a deadly shooting.
The shooting happened around 8:16 p.m. on Friday evening in the area of Cambridge and Winchester Avenue.
At 10:03 p.m., police said they had one subject of interest detained and detectives were going to talk to that person.
KD said they found an adult male unresponsive when they were dispatched to the 6900 block of E. 17th Street in regard to a shooting. The man was shot and unresponsive, with emergency medical services pronouncing him dead at the scene.
