‘The Fonz’ is coming to Kansas City for Planet Comicon

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Known Patrick Mahomes and Kansas City Chiefs fan Henry Winkler is coming to Kansas City in March.

Winkler, known for his role as “The Fonz” on Happy Days, is scheduled to make an appearance at Planet Comicon’s 25th-anniversary event.

Planet Comicon is scheduled for March 8-10 at Bartle Hall.

“I’m ecstatic to return to Planet Comicon Kansas City with my fellow castmates and celebrate the 25th Anniversary of this incredible event,” Winkler said. “Kansas City is one of my favorite cities to visit.”

After the Chiefs quarterback offered Winkler a dinner invite, “The Fonz” said he’s hoping to cash in his offer this March.

“I can’t wait to see the fans and maybe I can finally take your star quarterback up on those dinner plans we discussed,” Winkler said in a release Tuesday.
