Travis Kelce teams up to donate 25k meals for Kansas City youth

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce has teamed up with breakfast brand Kodiak to donate 25,000 meals to Kansas City kids through the non-profit after-school program Operation Breakthrough.

“ing forces with my friends over at Kodiak to fuel the Operation Breakthrough families is a total privilege,” Kelce said in a statement. “Alongside Kodiak, a brand I love, we will be making a meaningful difference in the day-to-day life of hundreds of Kansas City kids, and I couldn’t be more excited to make this happen.”

Kelce became an investor in Kodiak in 2022. The Utah-based company is focused on breakfast foods packed with protein and made from 100% whole grains.

The foundation Kelce launched in 2015, Eighty-Seven & Running, is focused on outreach, mentoring and athletic programs for underserved youth, and previously invested in the creation of Operation Breakthrough’s Ignition Lab. Operation Breakthrough offers childcare, after-school programs and other resources for families in Kansas City.

The children served by Operation Breakthrough will receive meals and products including Kodiak’s classic Power Cakes, a range of both Oatmeal and Flapjack Power Cups, Breakfast and Granola Bars and more.
