LAS VEGAS, Nev. (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker made NFL history Sunday night.

Butker set the NFL record for the longest field goal in Super Bowl history during the third quarter of Super Bowl LVIII between the Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers.

The 57-yard kick broke the Super Bowl of 55, set earlier in the game by 49ers kicker Jake Moody.

Butker also set the record for most field goals made in Super Bowl history after knocking through his ninth total field goal in NFL championship games.
