Patrick Mahomes, Travis Kelce bring new restaurant to Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Kansas City Chiefs stars Travis Kelce hope to have a new winning combination. This time off the football field.

The Super Bowl champs plan to open a new steakhouse in Kansas City. It will fittingly be called 1587 Prime, a combination of their two jersey numbers.

Mahomes and Kelce are working with Noble 33, a hospitality group based in Las Vegas, on the new restaurant.

“Travis and I have become frequent visitors of Noble 33 restaurants in other cities, so it only made sense to bring something special to our own community in Kansas City,” Mahomes said.

1587 will be two floors and is expected to include multiple private dining rooms. Noble 33 said the restaurant will also feature hints to Mahomes and Travis’ on-field accomplishments. The hospitality company said it will also have one of the largest wine collections in the state of Missouri.

The new 1587 is expected to open inside Loews Hotel Kansas City in Downtown in early 2025.

This isn’t the first venture in which Mahomes and Kelce have partnered. They also invested in Chicken N Pickle, Alpine Racing Formula 1 team, and appear in commercials together.
