In the Family: Tammy Reid guest stars in CBS’s latest episode of S.W.A.T.
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Fans of the television show S.W.A.T. and of the Kansas City Chiefs were pleasantly surprised with a Kingdom royalty cameo on CBS.
While Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid is no stranger to U.S. television sets, his wife, Tammy, has now shown her talent for acting in CBS’s latest episode of S.W.A.T.
S.W.A.T.’s season 7 episode 8, Family Man, follows the story of a kidnapped waitress and a family full of doomsday preppers. Tammy plays the role of a journalist also named Tammy and appears twice for just a few seconds each.
During production, Andy traveled to the set to meet the cast and watch them film as both husband and wife sported their most recent Super Bowl rings.
Amelia Sims, a writer for the show and avid fan of New Heights with Travis and Jason Kelce, even told fans of S.W.A.T. on social media that she snuck in a New Heights reference. By happenstance, the pair were able to witness the Easter Egg.
While Andy grew up in the Los Angeles area, it remains unclear how and why Tammy was considered for the role.
