Woman shot while pulling into parking garage off Country Club Plaza

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Police Department responded to a shooting just off the Country Club Plaza that left one woman with minor injuries.
Around 9:20 p.m. on Saturday, a call was made to KD to report gunshots in the Plaza area. As officers were on the way, the call was upgraded to a shooting.
When they arrived, officers found a woman who reported that she had been pulling into a parking garage near 45th and Main Street when she heard gunshots. She realized she had been hit and called the police.
The woman was taken to a nearby hospital with minor, non-life-threatening injuries.
No suspect is in custody.
