Kansas lands Alabama forward Rylan Griffen, one of top remaining transfers in portal

LAWRENCE, Kan. (KCTV) - Kansas men’s basketball shot just 32.9% from the three-point arc last season. Consider that issue addressed.

The Jayhawks landed Rylan Griffen on Friday morning, a 6-6 guard and starter on Alabama’s 2024 Final Four team. According to The Athletic, Griffen was No. 5 of remaining transfers in the men’s college basketball portal.

He averaged 11.2 points, 3.4 rebounds and 1.9 assists in the 2023-24 season. He also shot 39.2% from distance.

Griffen s A.J. Storr from Wisconsin and Riley Kugel from Florida as recent transfer additions for Bill Self.
