WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - When driving south on Hillside, you might catch a glimpse of a bright new addition to Wichita State University’s campus.

On Friday, WSU unveiled the finished version of its new “Adelante Juntos – Forward Together” mural at the Duerksen Amphitheater.

The college first showed off an unfinished version of the mural during a Cinco De Mayo celebration earlier this month. After a few more weeks of work, Colombian street artist and muralist Nathalia Gallego, who goes by GLeo, says “Forward Together” is officially done.

This mural isn’t GLeo’s first artistic endeavor in Wichita. She’s also one of several artists who created the massive mural “The Original Dream,” which is visible on a grain elevator near 21st and Mosley.
