Man dies from lightning strike at Holden rodeo

HOLDEN, Mo. (KCTV) - A man died after police said he was struck by lightning Friday.
Emergency crews responded to the parking area at the Holden Chamber of Commerce Rodeo in Holden shortly after 11 p.m. They determined a lightning strike hit the 53-year-old victim. He later died of his injuries.
Police have not released the man’s identity as his family works to notify friends and family.
