Chiefs-Bengals thriller at Arrowhead gets high viewer numbers for CBS

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift. The Kansas City Chiefs and Cincinnati Bengals. Sunday’s matchup at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium had all the makings of a must-watch game, and the national viewing audience showed it.

CBS Sports reported that nearly 28 million people watched on the foot of Harrison Butker on Sunday evening.

It was the most watched telecast on a single network Kansas City Chiefs. CBS Sports reported that it was the most-watched “NFL on CBS” September game since 1998.

The Chiefs-Bengals matchup was also the most streamed regular season game of all time on Paramount+.
