KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Country Club Plaza’s new owners have released their plans for what the future may hold for the entertainment district during the 93rd Plaza Art Fair.

HP Village Management, the company that now owns the Country Club Plaza in Kansas City, Missouri, announced on Friday, Sept. 20, that new renderings for what the district may soon look like have been released.

“As we continue to work toward a master plan for the Country Club Plaza and envision what this crown jewel of our community can become, these renderings serve merely as initial thoughts and ideas that we are currently evaluating and testing,” said Drew Steffan, President and CEO of HP Village Management.

The new renderings were produced by OMNIPLAN.

When the new management company purchased the entertainment district from The Taubman Co. and Macerich at the end of June, it promised an increase in security and a focus on unique brands.

HP Village Management said the goal is to honor the original design of the space. Around 250,000 individuals are expected to attend the Plaza Art Fair which features work from 240 artists.
