Overland Park, Shawnee police responding to barricaded subject in area of 88th & Melrose

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) - The Overland Park and Shawnee police departments are working together in response to a crime that occurred in Shawnee Tuesday.
The Overland Park Police Department said a subject is barricaded inside a home in the area of 88th Terrace and Melrose Street in Overland Park.
Police said residents should avoid the area if possible.
