Going to a Royals home playoff game? Prepare to spend some dough
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The red-hot Royals have ensured a Blue October in Kansas City.
Following a 2-1, Kansas City Royals have moved on to the next round of the playoffs. The opponent will be none other than their one-time rival, the New York Yankees.

The best-of-5 American League Division Series begins on Saturday at 5:38 p.m. in New York. The Royals will start Michael Wacha, and they will Yankees ace Gerrit Cole. Game 2 will feature lefthanders Cole Ragans against Carlos Rodón with first pitch set for 6:38 p.m. at Yankee Stadium.
When the series comes to Kansas City for Game 3 on Wednesday, Oct. 9, Kauffman Stadium will host its first playoff game since Oct. 28, 2015, when the Royals defeated the New York Mets in Game 2 of the World Series.
And if the cost of tickets says anything about the excitement level of Royals fans, the Kauffman Stadium crowd should be raucous.
