In July, Wyandotte County David Johnston told KCTV5 that county leaders are working with Buc-ee’s to ink a deal. The company also confirmed the possibility of a travel center located in Wyandotte County.

They are considering a location near Interstate 70 and 110th Street. During that interview Johnston said if all goes well the county hopes Buc-ee’s will break ground by the end of the year.
