Undefeated Chiefs to be without Watson, Smith-Schuster in Las Vegas
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Chiefs are expected to be down two integral players as the undefeated team prepares to head to Las Vegas for Week 8.
The Kansas City Chiefs announced on Monday, Oct. 21, that Defensive End Mike Danna remains out for Week 8, and two new names may be left off the roster as well. Cornerback Jaylen Watson was listed as doubtful and Wide Receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster as questionable.
According to ESPN, Watson suffered a fractured ankle in Sunday’s win over the San Francisco 49ers. On Monday, it was made clear that he could be out for the season as a result.
Reid indicated earlier in the week that Smith-Schuster suffered a hamstring injury which was only aggravated in the game at Levi’s Stadium.
The Chiefs indicated that neither Smith-Schuester nor Watson are expected to play in this Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.
Undefeated Kansas City is set to kick off against the Las Vegas Raiders who are 2-5 so far this season at 3:25 p.m. on Sunday. You can watch along on KCTV5.
