KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV)—A just over hour-long flight over the Kansas City metro Friday sent a message to residents: vote.

A FlightAware flight tracker log revealed a plane took off from Charles B. Wheeler Downtown Airport at 10:12 a.m. and landed an hour and seven minutes later after tracing a message in the sky.

FlightAware said the Piper Aztec twin-piston plane was owned by ATD Pilot Training, LLC, and had a tail number of N54858.

The plane traveled around portions of the skies above Platte and Clay Counties at just under 8,000 feet.

The message comes just 10 days out from the 2024 general election.
