(InvestigateTV) — Healthcare is critical to our well-being, but for many people across the country, seeing a doctor has become a challenge.

The Association of American Medical Colleges estimates by 2036 the U.S. will face a shortage of up to 86,000 physicians, and patients are already feeling the consequences.

A South Carolina man felt that shortage firsthand, and for him, it’s painful.
