Nonstop Kansas City to Buffalo flights added ahead of AFC matchup

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Chiefs Kingdom will face Bills Mafia in Buffalo Sunday afternoon as Kansas City tries to stretch its record to a perfect 10-0.

Airlines know fans are going to travel to the game, and are stepping up to meet the demand.

Southwest Airlines and Delta added nonstop flights from Kansas City to Buffalo this weekend. A spokesperson for the airline said there are not normally nonstop flights between the two cities.

The added flights are:

  • Southwest Airlines
    • Flight WN6531
    • Leaves Friday morning at 9 a.m.
    • Lands in Buffalo at 12 p.m. ET
  • Delta Airlines
    • Flight DL8811
    • Leaves Friday at 10:30 a.m.
    • Lands in Buffalo at 1:41 EST

Tickets for the flights started around $620 a person on Wednesday morning.

The game is scheduled to kickoff at 3:25 p.m. CT on Nov. 17. The game will air on CBS.
