KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A $1 million ticket was sold at QuikTrip on NE Cookingham Road in Kansas City.

A Mega Millions player in Clay County won the jackpot in the Nov. 15 drawing, marking the third time in less than a month a Missouri Lottery player has won a $1 million prize playing the multi-state game.

The winning ticket matched all five white-ball numbers drawn – 5, 17, 35, 55, and 69 – to win the Mega Millions “Match 5″ prize of $1 million, missing only the Mega Ball number of 19.

It follows two other $1 million Mega Millions wins in the Oct. 25 drawing – with winning tickets sold in Creve Coeur and Branson.

Prizes above $600 may be claimed by appointment at any of the Missouri Lottery offices, which are located in Kansas City, Jefferson City, Springfield, and St. Louis. Draw Games winners have 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until May 14 to present their winning ticket.

The jackpot for Tuesday night’s Mega Millions drawing is an estimated $420 million.
