KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - If you still can’t decide what kind of presents to get your friends and family this holiday season, a first-of-its-kind Christmas Village might be your best bet with unique gifts you can’t get anywhere else.

Inside the Hallmark Christmas Village is Messner Bee Farm.

“Bees wax lip bomb is one of our more popular products, lots of different Christmas candles, some in Christmas shapes,” owner Rachel Messner said Friday. “Honey lotion, hand sanitizer, solid perfume and cologne.”

It’s the first time the themed village has come to Kansas City. But it doesn’t just mean more shopping.

“Our goal and Hallmark’s goal is bringing joy. What could be more joyful than this little Christmas market?” Messner added. “This place is set up so cute, look at all these little cottages and there’s ice skating and a Christmas tree lighting, it’s a Hallmark Movie and we get to be part of it.”

“We have things like breakfast with Santa, a holiday pop-up bar, stars on stage events with the Hallmark Stars,” Creative Director of Hallmark Hearts Anna Kambarami explained. “So, there’s a lot of fun things you can get down here and do.”

Even if it’s freezing, Hallmark’s team has places you can warm up and still enjoy the village.

“While we have the Outdoor Square there is Crown Center that people could easily access,” Kambarami said. “And so, I think people will just need to go inside and take those kind of warm breaks and dress warm. We want everybody to dress warm.”

On Saturday around 4:30 p.m., the stretch of Grand Boulevard in front of Crown Center Mall will also be closed for a special red-carpet event where fans can meet Chiefs Cheerleaders and stars of the Hallmark movie Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story.
