Top tight end Linkon Cure signs letter of intent with Kansas State

WICHITA, Kan. (Catch it Kansas) - Despite heavy interest in and from the University of Oregon, Goodland tight end Linkon Cure has signed to play football at Kansas State.
Cure committed to K-State this summer but has since shown interest in and has been strongly pursued by Oregon, the nation’s top-ranked and only undefeated team. Many experts believed he would flip and sign with the Ducks on Wednesday.
Cure, the nation’s top tight end in the class of 2025 according to 247 Sports, announced his decision on a 247 Sports livestream on Wednesday morning. K-State announced Cure’s decision, meaning Cure has already signed his letter of intent. He participated in a public g on Wednesday afternoon.
Cure led Goodland this season with 17 receiving touchdowns, six rushing touchdowns, 57 receptions and 1,049 receiving yards.
