Shooting leaves 2 dead at Kansas City apartment complex

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Police said on Monday afternoon they were still trying to learn the circumstances surrounding a shooting report that left two people dead.

Officers told KCTV5 that law enforcement responded to an apartment complex in the 6000 block of Blue Hills Road and found a man dead in a vehicle that was in the parking lot. A woman was taken to a hospital and died there.

Police did not know of a motive or relationship between the man and woman, and whether they lived at the complex.

The Kansas City Police Department stated that law enforcement did not have any suspect information, were questioning neighbors to see if the incident was caught on video.
