Free Christmas light tour in the metro open to Kansas and Missouri residents

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Heartland Trailways offers a fun way for Kansas Citians to experience the magic of the holidays for free.

Guests will stop and see the lights at Candy Cane Lane, Country Club Plaza, Mayor’s Christmas Tree Crown Center and Union Station. At Union Station, guests will be able to exit the tour bus and explore inside.

There is a pickup location in both Missouri and Kansas.

Missouri pickup location:

Walmart SuperCenter (Parking lot)
11601 E US Hwy 40, Kansas City, MO 64133

Kansas pickup location:

Walmart Legends (Parking lot)
10824 Parallel Pkwy, Kansas City, KS 66109

The tour will run from December 14 through 18 and December 20 through 23. Buses board at 6:00 p.m., depart at 6:30 p.m. and return at 9:00 p.m.

The free tours are first-come, first-serve, and each bus holds 56 engers. There will be one bus for the Missouri pickup location and a separate bus for the Kansas pickup location.
