Metro Salvation Army kettle donations down hundreds of thousands from goal
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Salvation Army of Kansas and Western Missouri still needs over $200,000 dollars to reach their 2024 goal.
As of December 27, metro-area donations are at $566,000, and the goal is $800,000. Total donation amounts are still being calculated.

It’s important to note that the 2024 holiday season was shorter than in years past due to Thanksgiving falling later in the year. This could for the decline in donations.
There is still time for people who want to donate this holiday season by going to the website and clicking on the red donate tab.
