ST. LOUIS (KMOV/Gray News) – A man was robbed at gunpoint in St. Louis by the person who helped him when his vehicle got stuck in the snow, police said.
The 40-year-old victim told police his vehicle got stuck in snow while trying to enter his apartment garage on Monday morning.
An unknown man in an SUV helped him to get unstuck.
Once the victim’s car was able to move again, he parked it in the garage. Then, the man who previously helped him approached him, pointed a gun at him and demanded his car keys, police said.
The victim gave the suspect his car keys and then called the police.
Responding officers said the man’s car, however, was not taken.
The investigation is ongoing.
