Kansas City residents can report snow, ice issues through this app

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Crews with snow plows are working around the clock to dig the metro out of the weekend blizzard.

Many neighborhoods are down to pavement while others are still waiting for the plows to arrive.

Cities have made it easier to track where snow plows are focusing efforts, and when they will make it to other areas.

The dropping overnight temperatures will allow some streets to freeze again. Refreezing could lead to driving issues Wednesday morning.

Kansas City, Mo., residents can how report any snow or ice issues to the city through the myKCMO app. City leaders are asking for roads that haven’t been plowed and stretches of icy streets.

Snow plow crews in Kansas City are focused on catching up on areas that need attention while also prioritizing the safety of residents.
