Multiple freight train cars derail in Johnson County

EDGERTON, Kan. (KCTV) - Some Fed Ex and Amazon Prime cars were among the 10 freight train cars derailed in Johnson County Thursday morning.
It happened between Gardner and Edgerton.
No injuries were reported from the derailment, and the line was back open before noon.
No word of delivery delays or what caused the crash.
“BNSF can confirm that 10 rail cars derailed within the rail yard last night at 10:30 CT,” a company spokesperson told KCTV5 News. “No injuries or hazardous material compromised. It is currently under investigation.”
