Taylor’s trail: a timeline of Swift’s KC appearances

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - It’s been over 500 days since Travis and Taylor started their love story. Let’s look back at Taylor’s mark in Red Kingdom.
Taylor last performed at Arrowhead for the Eras Tour on July 8, 2023. Travis allegedly asked her to swap friendship bracelets at the event, where Taylor supposedly declined.
She must have changed her mind, though, because on September 24, Taylor made her first appearance at Arrowhead stadium to watch Travis play.
Since then, Taylor has been much more than just a Chiefs fan, she engages with and s the Kansas City community.
Giving Back
After the Chiefs rally shooting tragedy, Taylor donated $100,000 to the family of the late Lisa Lopez-Galvan through a GoFundMe fundraiser.
Taylor’s philanthropy in Red Kingdom didn’t stop there. The day before Taylor’s 35th birthday, she visited Children’s Mercy hospital, giving gifts and hugs to the patients.
Just in time for Christmas 2024, Taylor donated $250,000 to Operation Breakthrough, a nonprofit that is near to both her and Travis’ heart.
T&T
Taylor’s for Travis didn’t stop at Arrowhead. She ed him all the way up to the Chiefs’ Super Bowl LVIII victory, where she was seen on the field congratulating Travis for his world title.
The tables turned when Travis was a part of Taylor’s spotlight; he performed at the Eras Tour in London on June 23, 2024.
Ties to Channel 5
In October, KCTV’s MyKC Live crew hosted the first official Taylor Swift reporter for USA Today.
While KCTV5 may not have met with Taylor herself, local impersonator Kelley Thrasher chatted with KCTV’s Janae’ Hancock on December 13.
