KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The road to Super Bowl LIX runs through Arrowhead for the Houston Texans and their fans.

The Traveling Texans are slowly making their ways to Kansas City ahead of Saturday’s AFC Divisional Game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium. Multiple flights straight from Houston arrived at KCI Airport throughout the day Friday.

Fans on those flights say they don’t need Chiefs Kingdom to remind them of what happened the last time they had this much riding on a game in Kansas City.

“Last time we were here in the playoffs was not good, so my expectations aren’t high, but my hopes are high,” Stephen Stark, Texans fan, said.

Stark and other Traveling Texans say they know they are ing the underdogs heading into Saturday’s playoff game. They also realize they’ll be battling against more than a team trying to three-peat as Super Bowl Champions.

“We got our hands tied and they have some extra help with the refs too [laughs], I know the Kansas City fans will like that. But, no, Mahomes is good. I wish we would have had a shot at him. That dude’s a proven winner. I think our defense can hold up. I’m worried about our offense,” Stark said.

KCI Airport is busy as Chiefs and Texans fans arrive in Kansas City ahead of Saturday's AFC Divisional game.

The fans said they also traveled to Kansas City to experience the playoffs and everything Arrowhead has to offer.

“We go to several stadiums a year. I thought I’d been to the loudest one in Seattle, and I just heard 142 db. I’m anxious, but I’m thinking maybe I don’t want to hear it. Sounds like it’s going to be really loud,” Stark said.

Stark’s right. It is going to be really loud at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

Reaching 142.2 dB, Chiefs Kingdom set a Guinness World Record for the Loudest Outdoor Open Air Stadium.
