NICU patients in Kansas City celebrate first Red Friday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - As Kansas City gears up for the Divisional Round, an area hospital’s NICU patients celebrated their first Red Friday.
Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City shared photos on Friday, Jan. 17, of patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit who dressed to impress in their Red Friday gear.
Hospital staff said the infants and their families are ready to cheer Kansas City’s favorite players on to a victory on Saturday.
Leaders noted that the outfits were handmade by team .
