KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - NBA star Caitlin Clark’s memorable 2024 is continuing into 2025.

ESPN showed the No. 1 draft pick and 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year in Kansas City Chiefs-Houston Texans AFC Divisional Game at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium.

The NFL playoff game came just weeks after Travis Kelce on their “New Heights” podcast.

Clark is known for growing up a Chiefs fan in Iowa, just hours from Kansas City. She discussed her fandom with the Kelce’s

“My dad was a big Chiefs fan growing up, [and] people think I’m a bandwagon Chiefs fan, and I’m like, I was [a fan] before Patrick [Mahomes] and Travis were on the team," she said. “We’ve been big fans, and all the success you guys have had has made it a lot of fun.”

She also made sure to give credit where credit is due when asked about her favorite Chiefs players.

“I mean, obviously Travis is,” Clark to the cheers of the Kelce brothers. “I’m a big Patrick Mahomes fan too; the both of you are pretty great.”

“You and Patrick especially just have that edge too, like that clutch factor, and a lot of people don’t have that,” she said.
