FORT RILEY, Kan. (KCTV) - Around 200 soldiers from Fort Riley are set to reinforce the 2,500 forces already at the southern border following an order from President Trump.

The U.S. Army announced on Saturday, Jan. 25, that around 200 soldiers with the 1st Infantry Division from Fort Riley, Kansas, are expected to deploy to the southern border as directed by President Donald Trump.

Under the direction of the U.S. Northern Command and t Task Force North, leaders from Fort Riley said the 41st Combat Engineer Company-Armored and the 977th Military Police Company will augment the 2,500 forces already at the border.
