Chiefs Champs: Kansas City stores reopen to sell AFC Championship Gear
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The roar from GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium echoed throughout Chiefs Kingdom as the game clock expired.
After the Chiefs secured a trip to Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, fans packed stores to get their hands on the latest AFC Championship gear.
Stores across Chiefs Kingdom immediately reopened their doors after Sunday’s game to sell Chiefs and AFC Champions gear.
Some of the locations staying open late, or opening early Monday are listed below.
ACADEMY SPORTS
Academy Sports and Outdoors celebrated another Chiefs AFC Championship.
The chain’s location in Liberty reopened after Sunday’s game and started selling the official Kansas City Chiefs AFC Championship shirts, hats, fleece, and other options.
All Academy Sports and Outdoors locations across Kansas City will open at 7 a.m. Monday to allow fans to grab new gear on the way to work or school.
DICK’S SPORTING GOODS
Select Dick’s Sporting Goods locations will open early Monday in Kansas City.
AFC Championship gear is also available online.
RALLY HOUSE
Some Rally House locations also reopened to welcome Chiefs fans in to buy updated gear.

The stores will also open early Monday morning to sell gear to people heading to work.
The Rally House inside Kansas City’s Union Station will also be open Monday.
SUPER BOWL LIX
The Chiefs will play the Philadelphia Eagles on Feb. 9 at Caesars Superdome in New Orleans.
Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
There will be watch parties across Kansas City, including at the KC Live! Block in the Power & Light District.
