Suspected auto burglar caught on camera in Overland Park, police seeking his identity

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) - The Overland Park Police Department is asking for help identifying a man they believe has been involved in a string of car burglaries.

According to police, the burglaries have happened near W. 79th Street and Conser Street over the past several weeks. This is near Downtown Overland Park and the newly renamed farmers’ market.

Authorities believe the suspect used one of his victim’s stolen credit cards at an area convenience store, then left in a black compact car.

Anyone with information on the burglaries or who may recognize the suspect is asked to Overland Park police or the anonymous TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS (8477).
