NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - Super Bowl LIX is taking over New Orleans, and the city is rolling out the red carpet with a week of events.
From star-studded parties and concerts to immersive fan experiences, here’s everything you need to know about the biggest events happening before the big game.
Sunday, Feb. 2
Lombardi Trophy second line
- Fans are invited to celebrate the Vince Lombardi Trophy’s arrival to New Orleans with a second line in the French Quarter featuring brass bands and Mardi Gras Indians
- Celebration begins at 5 p.m. at 300 Conti St.
- Second line will march down Decatur Street to Jackson Square
- Special projection show follows at 6:30 p.m. on the face of St. Louis Cathedral. The musical lighting shows will repeat nightly this week, every 30 minutes, from 6:30-11:30 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 3
Super Bowl Opening Night
- Caesars Superdome
- Tickets: $20 (Available via NFL One app) and SuperBowl.com/OpeningNight
- Fans can see both teams make their only public appearance before the game. Take photos, shop exclusive merchandise, and soak in the excitement inside the Dome!
