Donna Kelce will wear red to the Super Bowl... probably
NEW ORLEANS (KCTV) - Donna Kelce’s popular half-Chiefs, half-Eagles jersey showing split for sons Travis and Jason Kelce appears to be hung up for good.
The jersey with Travis’ Chiefs number on the front and Jason’s Eagles number on the back is currently on display at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio.
With Jason watching from the stands this time around for Super Bowl LIX, Travis doesn’t see much reason to bring it back out.
“I mean I would hope she doesn’t have the split jersey this time. Philly reeled in my entire family on this one?” he said with a laugh at Thursday’s media availability in New Orleans. “No, I think she’ll be wearing red. I think everybody outside of Jason and Kylie [Kelce] are going to be wearing all red.”
Though that tradition has ended, Travis assures his mom’s famous cookies will make another appearance in New Orleans.
“You know it,” he said. “Never play in the Super Bowl without ‘em.”
