OVERLAND PARK, Kan. (KCTV) — For six years, Justine Cohorst has been creating jewelry with her at-home business and during this time of year sales are big for all things Chiefs.

Cohorst first started Jaycee Designs KC by selling personalized, hand-stamped jewelry. Then she went on the hunt for some Chiefs jewelry for herself, but couldn’t find what she liked.

“I couldn’t find anything that was cute and stylish and subtle and so I just decided ‘Why don’t I just design something?’ So I started deg it and the ideas just kept coming and they keep coming so I keep making more and more,” said Jaycee Designs KC Owner, Justine Cohorst.

She makes bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and even an Arrowhead ring.

The pieces are quite popular this time of year with the Super Bowl Champs on a quest for a three-peat.

“It is awesome because all the people are so excited to get it and it is just fun to hear all of the stories of the people who go to the Super Bowl and wear the jewelry or wear the jewelry for their weddings because their wedding is today I know someone who is getting married today and they are wearing my jewelry for their wedding it is just fun to hear all the stories of the fans and how they wear it and what they do with it,” said Cohorst.

She’s been a Chiefs fan all of her life and said it is exciting to be a part of Red Kingdom in a unique way.

“I think back to when I was a kid and we would go to a game or even when I was like a young adult and it was like $50 and now it has just gotten so crazy and it is amazing to see how far we’ve come,” said Cohorst.

She believes in giving back to the community and for every order you purchase, $2 goes to a different local charity every quarter.

You can shop on her website or on Etsy.
