Chiefs, Eagles open early 2025 Super Bowl odds as co-favorites
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Now that the midnight green and silver confetti has fallen on the artificial turf inside the Caesars Superdome, cementing the failed end of Kansas City’s attempt at a three-peat, oddsmakers have shifted their focus toward next season.
Oddsmakers at various sportsbooks believe the Super Bowl matchup from two of the past three seasons -- Philadelphia Eagles against Kansas City Chiefs -- is likely to be the same when Super Bowl LX is played in the Bay Area next February.
FanDuel made the Chiefs and Eagles co-favorites at +650 odds to win Super Bowl LX. At DraftKings, Philadelphia was made a slight favorite at +650 odds while the Chiefs, Buffalo Bills and Baltimore Ravens formed an AFC trio at +700 odds each.

The early odds for the 2025 season followed a 40-22 Eagles victory in Super Bowl LX that featured a 34-0 Eagles lead and a start-to-finish domination from Philadelphia. The loss, Kansas City’s second in its five Super Bowl appearances since the 2019 season, was just the fourth of quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ playoff career.
For the Chiefs to become Super Bowl champions in the 2025 season, they’d have to become the second team in NFL history to reach four consecutive Super Bowls. Only the Buffalo Bills -- who appeared in and lost four consecutive Super Bowl in the early 1990s -- have reached the title game four straight seasons.
