KSMO-TV partners with Kansas City Mavericks to broadcast 15 games this season
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - KSMO-TV channel 62 will partner with the Kansas City Mavericks to broadcast 15 ECHL hockey games this season, live from Cable Dahmer Arena.
The partnership includes broadcasting any potential playoff games.
The puck drops on the partnership Saturday, Oct. 19 when the Mavericks take on the Wichita Thunder.
“Kansas City has loved the Mavericks for years because of the tremendous hockey they play and the difference they make in our community,” said Curtis Miles, vice president and general manager of KCTV5/KSMO. “So, we are thrilled to partner with them to make these games available to fans across Kansas and Missouri.”
Here is the complete schedule of Mavericks home games that will air on KSMO-TV. All game times are 6 p.m. unless noted.

- Saturday, Nov. 2 vs Fort Wayne Komets
- Saturday, Nov. 30 vs Tulsa Oilers
- Saturday, Dec. 14 vs Savannah Ghost Pirates
- Saturday, Dec. 21 vs Tulsa Oilers
- Tuesday, Dec. 31 vs Wichita Thunder (7 p.m.)
- Saturday, Jan. 4 vs Allen Americans
- Saturday, Jan. 18 vs Rapid City Rush
- Saturday, Feb. 1 vs Tahoe Knight Monsters
- Saturday, Feb. 15 vs Tulsa Oilers
- Friday, Feb. 21 vs Allen Americans (7 p.m.)
- Saturday, March 8 vs Idaho Steelheads
- Saturday, March 22 vs Utah Grizzlies
- Saturday, March 29 vs Wichita Thunder
- Saturday, April 5 vs Rapid City Rush
The games will also air on KSMO’s sister stations in Wichita and Topeka, Kansas. WIBW-TV in Topeka will broadcast the games on channel 13.2 and on Cox Cable channel 11. In Wichita, KWCH-TV will air the games on channel 12.4.
The Mavericks made it to the Kelly Cup Finals last season after securing a Western Conference championship in the ECHL.
