NFLPA report card: Andy Reid among NFL’s best, Chiefs locker room and team hotel rated poorly
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - When the NFLPA released its 2024 report card a year ago, the Chiefs had failing grades in four categories. A year later, they did not have any.
The 2025 NFLPA report card rated the Chiefs as 26th out of the 32 teams in the NFL, up from 31st last year.
“They improved their family offerings by introducing stadium daycare for day games, resulting in a notable boost in their grade,” the report stated. “This offseason, the team invested in a new full-time dietician who was previously with the New York Jets. This led to an improved food program grade and a dramatic increase in their nutritionist/dietitian score from an F last year to an A- this year.”
Head coach Andy Reid was given an A+ by the Chiefs players surveyed, and his overall rating was good enough for fourth in the league. The report card listed the following about Reid:
- 93% of Chiefs players feel their head coach Andy Reid is efficient with their time, a rank of 17 out of 32.
- The players feel that Reid is highly receptive to locker room on the team’s needs, ranking him 13 of 32 head coaches in the league.
The aforementioned nutritionist/dietician category was graded as fifth out of the 32 teams.

The players gave Clark Hunt a C-, 26th out of the 32 teams.

The area most needing improvement, according to the players, continues to be the locker room. Chiefs players gave those accommodations a D-, 28th in the NFL. Nearly two-thirds of the players stated that they did not feel they had enough room in their individual lockers.
The strongest stance for the Chiefs players was rating their home game hotel as the lowest in the NFL. His rating for perceived willingness to invest in the facilities is 6.61 out of 10 from the Chiefs players.
“Players say their home game hotel is below standard. They report that it is outdated, the beds are uncomfortable, and many players even keep their shoes on in their rooms because the floors—especially in the bathroom—are dirty and sticky. Leftover trash from previous occupants is also a common issue,” the report card stated. “It’s no surprise the Chiefs’ home game hotel scored the lowest across the entire NFL.”
