Olathe man taken to hospital after motorcycle collides with cement wall
KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - An Olathe man was taken to a nearby hospital after he lost control of his motorcycle on a Kansas City interstate and crashed into a cement wall.
The Kansas Highway Patrol indicates that around 4:35 p.m. on Sunday, March 9, emergency crews were called to the area of I-635 and Parallel Pkwy. with reports of a motorcycle crash.
When first responders arrived, they said they found Waylon Hoshaw, 41, of Olathe, had been driving a 2006 Yamaha north on the interstate when he lost control of it.
State Troopers noted that the bike veered off the roadway to the left and hit the median wall.
Emergency crews indicated that Hoshaw was taken to the University of Kansas Medical Center with suspected minor injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
