After a stolen Jeep Grand Cherokee was seen in surveillance footage during a burglary on Feb. 26, law enforcement connected the same stolen vehicle with five burglaries in the early morning hours of March 1, according to court records.

As detectives gathered information from witnesses and the incidents, Tucker emerged as a suspect and was noticeably wearing the same clothing in the alleged crimes.

Police arrested Tucker and found stolen firearms, including a Glock modified with a switch converting a semiautomatic gun to a fully automatic firearm. Tucker also had the key fob to the stolen Jeep, which had a stolen cash inside. He itted to stealing the vehicles and to being involved in the burglaries, court records showed.

Police told KCTV5 a week ago that Tucker’s property crimes were committed in the Brookside and Waldo area.

A release from the prosecutor’s office noted that Tucker has a history of felony convictions, prohibiting him from possessing firearms. He was booked into the Jackson County Detention Center.
