KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - Those around the Kansas City metro have been warned to brace for impact as severe spring storms begin to jolt through the area.

National Weather Service Storm Reports:
- A tractor-trailer has blown over in Orrick, near Excelsior Springs, Missouri
- A huge tree (20 ft.) was blown over in Excelsior Springs
- A satellite tower was blown over in Leavenworth County, Kansas
- Lots of reports continue to roll in from Trenton, Missouri - including significant building damage
