Double homicide under investigation after 2 men found shot in street
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - The Kansas City Police Department is investigating the deaths of two men after gunshots were reported late Tuesday night.
Officers were called to the 3400 block of Harrison Street shortly after 11 p.m. on March 18.
When officers arrived, they found two men in the street with gunshot wounds. The victims were taken to nearby hospitals where they were both declared dead.
KD said there are no suspects in custody and they are unsure of the circumstances leading up to the shooting. The investigation is ongoing and detectives are searching for witnesses.
Anyone who saw or heard anything in the area or who has information on the incident is asked to homicide detectives directly at 816-234-5043 or the TIPS Hotline anonymously at 816-474-TIPS. There is a reward of up to $25,000 for information submitted anonymously to the TIPS hotline.
