Roads closed across western Kansas due to winter weather

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH) - The Kansas Department of Transportation has closed all roads in northwest Kansas due to high winds, low visibility, and snow-packed road conditions, including I-70. In addition, there have been numerous vehicle crashes and semi-trucks blocking roadways.

Road conditions in the southwest region are continuing to deteriorate due to the high winds and low visibility. KDOT recommends that any non-essential travel in these areas should be delayed until conditions improve.
