Royals to rock classic look on new day of the week this season
KANSAS CITY, Mo. (KCTV) - A classic Kansas City Royals look is coming back to Kauffman Stadium this season.
The Royals announced Tuesday their powder blue tops and pants are returning for every Saturday home game this season. The jerseys’ return comes with a throwback Royals helmet and hat as well.
The announcement was shared on social media Tuesday morning.
Royals fans hoping to see the powder blue uniforms in person can do so and get a Salvador Perez bobblehead with a six-pack of tickets the Royals are selling now. The organization is selling fans the package -- which allows fans to choose any six Saturday home games throughout the season from March 29 through the end of the season.

Last year, the Royals were 45-36 at Kauffman Stadium, making the playoffs for the first time since 2015.
