OLATHE, Kan. (KCTV) - One person is in custody after a 21-year-old was shot and killed Saturday night, the Olathe Police Department reported. On Monday, he was identified as Landen Roggenkamp of Olathe.

Initial reports stated that OPD was dispatched to the 1400 block of East Mart-Way Circle at approximately 9:45 p.m. on March 29. Officers were unsure of the nature of the call, but when they arrived, they found Roggenkamp with “multiple wounds.” He was taken to an area hospital, where he later died.

OPD said a 25-year-old man was taken into custody and may be charged, depending on the results of the investigation. The department confirmed to KCTV5 that Roggenkamp and the person in custody knew each other, but did not provide further details.
