Monarchs to Pack the Park for Variety KC

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) - Families have been invited to Legends Field at the end of May to help Pack the Park for Variety KC during the Monarchs’ game against the Canaries.

The Kansas City Monarchs have announced that the team has ed forces with Variety KC to Pack the Park on Friday, May 30, at Legends Field. The night is set to feature a special pregame ceremony as a Variety KC child runs the bases.

“We’re excited to host our friends at Variety KC and Pack the Park on May 30,” Monarchs owner Mark Brandmeyer said. “Variety KC is an outstanding organization that we’re proud to partner with year after year. This will be an unforgettable night.”

The Monarchs noted that a Variety KC representative is expected to throw the first pitch as families are honored throughout the night. A display is set to closeout the game for Fireworks Fridays.

“At Variety KC, we believe in the power of community and inclusion, and our continued partnership with the Kansas City Monarchs is a testament to that,” said Ali O’Grady, Community Liasion Officer for Variety KC. “Pack the Park Night is more than just a game—it’s an opportunity to bring families together and celebrate the incredible impact of creating spaces where everyone belongs.”

Team leaders indicated that first pitch for the May 30 game against the Sioux Falls Canaries has been set for 6:35 p.m. Tickets are on sale now and can be found HERE.
