Afternoon shooting in Raytown leaves one man with multiple injuries
RAYTOWN, Mo. (KCTV) - One man was taken to a nearby hospital when an afternoon shooting left him with what were believed to be multiple injuries.
The Raytown, Missouri, Police Department says that just before 4:25 p.m. on Friday, April 4, emergency crews were called to the area of Elm Ave. and E. 83rd St. with reports of a shooting.
When first responders arrived, they said they found an adult male who had suffered an apparent gunshot wound. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
Law enforcement officials also noted that one individual has been taken into custody as a result. No further information, including the suspect’s identity, has been released as the investigation continues.
